P.S. I write outloud and dicate to myself. I tend toward misplaced homophones and occasional spelling errors. The dead aren't confused by the former and don't seem as worked up about the latter as one might think. I will try for the sake of the living to be more careful in the future.

Martin Shaw's substack this morning has a telling of a sister version of the The Twelve Wild Geese, called The SIx Swans. He is an ace and his new book Bardskull is an amazing journey across the lines on the off chance you come across this and don't know of The House of Beasts and Vines on here I would go there straight away. Great stuff. https://martinshaw.substack.com/p/sunday-stories-the-six-swans?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

Hi Andrew, I’m only now reading this your maiden post and it has helped immensely in getting my bearings in your world, haha, as if bearings are good or needed. I so appreciate your outlook: open to the mystery, lack of certainty, betweenness, at home in the neti neti. Feeling so grateful to have found your writings. Rereading Pyrrhic Company piece again this morning and so wishing it was in a book form that I could hold and return to again and again without having to endure the light of the screen… perhaps fortune will bless us with such a gift in times to come. Blessings to you this light filled Yom Shishi.

I've been moving for some time toward some sort of christo-animism (small 'c' on purpose). Getting a lot of mine from imbibing certain Native American writers and cultures (currently Cherokee and Blackfeet). Consider me interested against the odds! :)

We need to talk. Maybe a dialogue on zoom. If we manage anything coherent we can record it as bait for other biters like us. I have a couple things to bounce off you.
